This is my first foundation. Just a heads up, I have acne- prone oily skin and have been using this for the past year. I only recently stopped in exchange for a BB Cream. :)
Claims: Suppose to provide medium to full coverage, last 24 Hr, Oil-Free
Packaging: There is no pump... Nooo... It was a struggle to get the product out near the end. The cap is plastic and looks cheap. Not attractive at all. Although, there is a new version of this foundation....with a pump!
Coverage: Medium to Full. The foundation is quite thick and somewhat hard to blend (I use my hands). I only used one layer and I don't suggest layering. It definitely feels like and looks there is foundation on my face and my pores feel clogged.
Oil-Control: Oily control is what makes or breaks a foundation for me. The oil control is greatly lacking in the product. Especially since it claims to last 24 Hr. For me, the most was 3-4 hours. Maybe an extra hour with primer. After that, it pretty much just felt like a oil slick on my face.
Color: I got this in the shade Pure Beige. I am a NC 20 and this product was way too dark. It had a orange-yellow finish and oxidized significantly throughout the day. The color was slightly better during the summer, but it was workable.
Overall, this was such a disappointment. I can't say one good thing about this product. Seriously, this foundation is a disaster. This product was also really expensive for a drugstore foundation. I bought mine at Shoppers Drug Mart for $17. Yes. It's the same price as the Revlon Colorstay one... and only a bit cheaper than high- end ones. Lesson? Research your products.
